Nice T’meetchya!

Hey! How are you doing? Shall we get acquainted? I’ll start.

My name is Marion. I live in Nashville, TN with my husband, Alex, and our 2 year old daughter, Gloria. We are a music family here in Music City, how fitting. Alex is a guitarist, producer, and singer/songwriter, and I am a singer and songwriter. I love beautiful things-flowers, vintage dresses, art. I love reading books, I love big feelings, I love a dark corner with a bourbon to accompany a deep chat. I love being a mother. I love people.

The Morning Gloria is an idea I’ve had for many many years. I’m not exactly sure what it is.  It’s the name of this homemade website. It’s also the name of a café I’d like to own one day. My maternal Grandmother’s name was Gloria.  I always knew I’d name a daughter Gloria if I were lucky enough to have a daughter. I was lucky enough on April 28, 2018. It’s a lovely name and that’s about it. 

This is just where I’m putting my glorified journal. I’m not a particularly good writer, I just needed a creative outlet for my feelings. This is not a ‘Mommy Blog’ or an advice blog. Isn’t ‘blog’ a terrible sounding word? May I make up a new name for this? I’m just going to call it my ‘thinkings’.  I have barely any expertise in anything. I have no answers here, only questions.
